DICK ZIER

I was born and raised in Montana. My family still owns a Farm and Ranch near Choteau. My Dad managed the Montana Elevator pictured on this page for 30 plus years. I have two Bachelor of Science degrees from Montana State University and 32 years of banking experience, 18 as a bank president. I have always been actively involved in community, state, and national organizations, thus creating a significant network that is invaluable in the Real Estate business. My banking experience gives me an advantage in that I can help get the deal financed and reach the ultimate goal of closing the sale or lease. I am very diligent and successful in negotiations. It is important to me that the whole transaction is a pleasant experience for all and comes to a successful ending.

I will work relentlessly to get your property leased or sold and if you’re a Buyer or Lessee, I will find the property that fits your needs.

I come from a strong German background with a family that valued and taught me true determination. I jumped into the work force at the age of 16 with a job in retail, followed by a position at a bank in the audit department. In 1981, I became an insurance agent specializing in health and life insurance for the self-employed, which led to the use of life insurance for estate planning, specifically for farmers and ranchers.

I am now following my passion of real estate. My interest in real estate starts with helping young people position themselves to be able to purchase a property and guide them to stay in a given price bracket to allow wiggle room for the unexpected. I am also excited about the many opportunities in Billings to use real estate or a business for investment purposes.

However, my greatest accomplishment is raising five beautiful children in the Laurel/Billings area and now getting to be a grandmother. It is a privilege to work alongside Dick, with his unwavering business ethics and considerable background in banking and the real estate business.
